  • Yield: 8 popsicles (3-ounce each)

Description

Cool down with these delightful Peach Sangria Popsicles, a refreshing frozen treat bursting with natural fruit sweetness and a hint of citrus. Made without added sugar, these popsicles balance the dryness of white wine and Grand Marnier with juice and fresh fruit for a perfect summer indulgence.

Ingredients

Liquid Ingredients

  • 1 cup white wine
  • 3 Tablespoons Grand Marnier orange liquor
  • 2/3 cup peach juice
  • 1/4 cup club soda
  • 1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

Fruit

  • 1 1/3 cups diced mixed fruit (such as peaches, strawberries and pineapple)

Instructions

  1. Mix Liquids: In a large pitcher or liquid measuring cup, whisk together the white wine, Grand Marnier, peach juice, club soda, and freshly squeezed lime juice until well combined.
  2. Prepare Molds: Divide the diced mixed fruit evenly among the popsicle molds, ensuring the fruit is distributed well to create a colorful and flavorful popsicle.
  3. Fill Molds: Pour the sangria mixture over the diced fruit in each mold, filling them up to the top.
  4. Initial Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours until the mixture has partially firmed up but is not fully solid.
  5. Add Sticks: Once slightly frozen, insert the popsicle sticks carefully into each mold so they stand upright.
  6. Final Freeze: Return the molds to the freezer and allow the popsicles to freeze solid, which will take at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.
  7. Serve: To serve, run the popsicle molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles before gently pulling them out.

Notes

  • No added sugar is used as the natural sweetness comes from peach juice and fresh fruit.
  • Alcohol content remains due to the use of white wine and Grand Marnier, so these are intended for adults.
  • Adjust freeze times according to your freezer’s temperature; colder freezers will solidify faster.
  • Use fresh or frozen fruit as desired, but fresh fruit will provide the best texture.
  • Club soda adds a slight fizz and lightness to the popsicles, but can be omitted if preferred.
